The 2022 United States Mint Proof Set includes 10 coins, minted in San Francisco with the S mint mark. The set is broken up into two parts with 5 coins in each.
The first part includes the following coins issued in 2022:
- One Native American $1 Coin
- One Kennedy Half Dollar
- One Roosevelt dime
- One Jefferson nickel
- One Lincoln penny
The set is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
The second set of 5 coins represents the first of four years where quarters will be issued for the American Women Quarters Program. The quarters honor:
- Maya Angelou – celebrated author, performer, and social activist
- Dr. Sally Ride – physicist and first American woman in space
- Wilma Mankiller – first female Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation
- Nina Otero-Warren – a leader in New Mexico’s suffrage movement
- Anna May Wong – first Chinese-American film star in Hollywood
