In 2026, the United States of America is celebrating 250 years as a nation.  Happy SemiQuincentennial Anniversary! The United States Mint will issue five special quarters this year to celebrate our Nation and will feature some of it's key historical moments.

The second quarter in the Semiquincentennial series honors the Revolutionary War.

The obverse features George Washington, Commander-in-Chief of the Continental Army during the Revolutionary War and the first President of the United States.  A Continental Army soldier at Valley Forge, PA is shown on the reverse.
