In 2026, America is celebrating its Semiquincentennial Anniversary – 250 years of independence.  The US Mint is updating the circulating coins with special designs in honor of this celebration.  This beautiful silver eagle has a liberty bell on it and the years 1776-2026.

Thanks to modern design technology, the obverse of this design is able to be a close reflection of the original vision by Adobph A. Weinman.  It includes the addition of his traditional artist mark.  The coin also includes enhanced anti-counterfeiting protection through the use of a special reeded edge.
